Bruce Fields

COACH BRUCE FIELDS (Hitting) 

Coach Bruce Fields is the lead hitting instructor at All Fields Hitting Baseball Academy in Southfield, Michigan.  

Prior to helping found All Fields Hitting, Bruce Fields was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the 7th round of the 1978 MLB draft. He played professionally for 14 seasons including 3 seasons in the Major Leagues with the Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners. He was a 3-time minor league batting champion and a career. 274 major league hitter. Upon conclusion of his playing career, Coach Fields became a minor league coach in the Detroit Tigers organization. He would go on to win the Midwest League manager of the year twice, while being named the Detroit Tigers Player Development Man of the Year. He was an organizational hitting coordinator for 10+ years and a Major League Hitting Coach for the Tigers and Cleveland Guardians for 5 years. Along with his 42+ years of professional experience, Coach Fields has pursued his passion for working with young players, parents, and youth coaches for the last 30+ years. He brings the highest level of knowledge, along with a fun, easy to understand approach to teaching.

COACH AARON FIELDS (Hitting/Infield) 

Coach Aaron Fields is the founder and owner of All Fields Hitting Baseball Academy. 

After completing a decorated high school career, Coach Aaron Fields played 4 years at Wright State University. He was a member of the 2007 Horizon League All-Newcomer Team. He helped lead Wright State to the Horizon League Tournament Title in 2009 as well as to the regular season title in 2010. In 2010, he was selected to the Horizon League All-Tournament team. After his 2010 season at Wright State, Fields was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 42nd round of the MLB Draft. He played 2.5 seasons in the Cleveland Indians organization. Upon concluding his playing career, Aaron scouted for the Detroit Tigers from 2012-2013. He also served as an assistant coach for the U of D Jesuit baseball team from 2012-2014. While coaching, Aaron served as the director of an education and brain training program where he helped students develop crucial learning fundamentals and structures. He uses this knowledge to teach his players in ways that work for each individual. Throughout the last 15 years, Coach Aaron has coached thousands of players, helping them achieve their baseball and softball goals. He believes that teaching is not only knowledge of the game but also being able to relate to and explain topics to players of all ages in a way they understand. 

COACH DANIEL FIELDS (Hitting/Outfield) 

Coach Daniel Fields is the founder and owner of All Fields Hitting Baseball Academy.  

After capping off his high school career by being named an All American and Michigan’s Mr. Baseball, Coach Daniel Fields was a 6th round selection in the 2009 MLB draft by the Detroit Tigers. He elected to sign with the Tigers over a scholarship offer from University of Michigan. He was named the Lakeland Flying Tigers MVP in 2010 along with winning the organizational gold glove. He was named to the organizational All-star team after his Double A year with the Erie Seawolves in 2013. Coach Fields made his major league debut with the Detroit Tigers in 2015. Following his time with the Tigers, he spent time with the White Sox, Diamondbacks and Dodgers. He finished up his playing career in the Atlantic league with the Long Island Ducks where he was a key piece to their 2019 championship team, while posting another strong season in 2021. Coach Fields has worked with amateur players, parents, and coaches since 2014. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, a relatable teaching style that is easy for players of all ages to understand. 

COACH TYLER TOMPSON (Pitching)

Coach Tompson attended Farmington High School and played 4 years of varsity baseball. After High School, Tyler committed to play baseball at Wayne State University from 2013-2017. From there Tyler began his coaching career and continued at Wayne State as a student-assistant coach from 2017-2018. From there, Tyler became a graduate assistant coach at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida for the 2018-2019 season. The Southeastern Fire finished the year 53-12 overall, winning the Sun Conference as well as the NAIA regional to earn a place in the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho.

 At the conclusion of the 2019 season, Tyler accepted a full-time position at Ron Wolforth’s Texas Baseball Ranch in Montgomery, Texas as a pitching instructor and events coordinator. In 2021, Tyler was promoted to Durathro™ Coordinator – running and coordinating their Durathro™ online training program for athletes that have attended camps and programs. Tyler has worked with athletes of all ages and levels of play, from little league to the Major Leagues. He specializes player/pitching development, as well as building a healthy, durable arm.

COACH AMANI KARIM (Hitting/Infield) 

After graduating from Brother Rice High School, Amani went on to play 4 years of collegiate baseball at Kalamazoo College as a middle infielder. During his time at Kalamazoo College, he posted a career .310 batting average while helping lead the team to multiple 20 plus win seasons, a home playoff appearance in 2021, and a record breaking offensive season in 2021. Amani is a 4 year Letter Winner and a 2 time MIAA Academic Honor Roll selection. Amani graduated in June 2021 with his bachelors in Business. 

Amani has been a part of the Michigan Express Baseball coaching staff since 2019, where he works with infielders and hitters. He also works in assisting players in the college recruiting process and has helped multiple players achieve their goal of playing college baseball.
